Open position: Construction site Inspector
Location: Piemonte
SINA is looking for a Construction Site Inspector to join the Construction Management office of worksites related to infrastructure works upgrades (viaducts and tunnels) in the Northwest area.
The resource will have to deal with works related to highway construction sites, continuous site supervision, full-time presence during the progress of works requiring daily supervision, during testing and during maintenance operations.
Main responsibilities:
- Verification of documents accompanying material supplies to ensure that they meet requirements and are approved by the supplier’s quality control facilities;
- Verifying, prior to commissioning, that materials, equipment, and facilities have passed the testing stages required by quality control or applicable regulations or contractual requirements under which they were constructed;
- Control of the activities of subcontractors;
- Control of the proper execution of the work against the design drawings and contractual technical specifications;
- Verification of correspondence between the work performed and what was specified in the design;
- Assistance with laboratory tests;
- Assisting with the testing of works and commissioning and acceptance tests of facilities;
- Preparation of accounting records when instructed by the construction manager.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Civil or Construction or Environmental Engineering.
- Knowledge of construction site safety regulations (Legislative Decree 81/08).
- Good knowledge of AUTOCAD 2D and MS-Project software and the main Office packages
- B driver’s license
- Willingness to travel throughout the country
Complete profile:
- Registration in the Register of Engineers and/or willingness to register
- Knowledge of Public Works and Construction regulations (Legislative Decree 50/16 and 36/23)
- Knowledge of structural calculation programs
- Experience as a site inspector
- Propensity to life on a construction site
- Willingness in technical depth
