Open position: Artwork Inspector
Location: Turin (TO)/ Savona (SV)/ S. Stefano di Magra (SP) - Italy
Artworks Inspector to be included in the Company’s Inspection Team, which deals with visual and instrumental checks of the deterioration status of structures—including in confined spaces—constituting road infrastructures such as: bridges, tunnels, metallic structures, retaining walls, and minor works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executing visual and instrumental inspections using special means such as under-bridge inspection units (by-bridges) and/or aerial work platforms, using IT devices such as tablets and handhelds with the adoption of proprietary specialist software compliant with the new Bridge and Tunnel Guidelines.
- Back-office activities for data reporting and, prospectively, for the evaluation of the functional and structural status of the works.
Requirements:
- Specialist Degree in Civil Engineering – Structures specialization is preferred, or a Surveyor/Building Technical Diploma.
- Knowledge of construction materials.
- Knowledge of instruments for testing the physical-mechanical characteristics of materials.
- Good IT skills.
- B driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel throughout the national territory.
Preferred Requirements:
- Possession of certification according to UNI/PdR 56:2019 standards “Inspector of bridges, viaducts and footbridges” of second and/or third level, or willingness to follow a path that involves achieving this certification
