Open position: Project Engineering - Road Engineering

Location: Milan (MI)

The resource will be placed on the road and highway project management team, including both new investments and maintenance and safety activities on existing infrastructure.

The role involves coordination, planning and design activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Main responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of feasibility studies, alternatives analysis, technical-economic feasibility designs, and executive designs in the road and highway fields, including modeling, functional verifications, and drafting of graphic and descriptive/functional drawings
  • ensure that projects meet compliance with current regulations and ensure project consistency with company standards and guidelines for road design and technical assistance
  • execute design and manage contracts through coordination and integration of the various specialist disciplines involved in the project
  • provide support to the Construction Management offices in the construction phase of the works, in the development of construction details or by evaluating design changes and/or variations proposed by the Contractor

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering – Transportation major
  • Thorough knowledge of current road design regulations
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar role
  • Experience in the use of road design software (Autodesk, Civil Design, Civil 3D)
  • B driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel throughout the country

Other Preferred Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice and registration with the relevant professional association.
