Open position: Site Operations Manager

Location: Liguria/ Piemonte/ Toscana

SINA is looking for an Operations Manager to be included in the Construction Management office of worksites related to upgrading of infrastructure works (viaducts and tunnels) in the Northwest area.

The resource will have to deal with the jobs related to the construction of highway worksites, will have to collaborate directly with the Director of Works in verifying that individual works are carried out regularly and that the works carried out correspond to the project requirements.

Main responsibilities:

  • Verify that the Contractor performs all legal paperwork related to the reporting of structure calculations;
  • Schedule and coordinate the activities of the Site Inspectors and the Materials Quality and Testing Manager;
  • Attend to the updating of the general and detailed schedule of the work and promptly report to the Director of Works any deviations from the contractual provisions, proposing the necessary corrective actions;
  • Assist the Director of Works in identifying the necessary interventions to eliminate design or executive defects;
  • Identify and analyze causes that adversely affect the quality of the work, proposing appropriate corrective actions to the Director of Works.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering.
  • Experience of at least 5 years in the construction industry
  • Experience gained in the public procurement sector
  • Knowledge of construction site safety (Legislative Decree 81/08) and public works and construction regulations (Legislative Decrees 50/16 and 36/23)
  • Knowledge of construction technologies of infrastructure works
  • Good knowledge of AUTOCAD 2D and MS-Project software and the main Office packages
  • B driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel throughout the country
